Winter sunset across the vines
The last of the vine leaves clinging on the vines December 2020. I was treated to the sky exploding in a bright lava strength colour which lasted for a few minutes before the sky darkened again perfectly silhouetting the Alpilles mountains in Provence.
Taken with my Nikon D850 and professionally printed in carbon neutral lab in London (additionally for every print bought I donate £5 to the Woodland Trust to help offset any delivery impact). I have chosen to print on Hahnemühle German Etching, which has a warm base tone and a mottled texture which adds to the leaves and gnarly bark of the vines. German Etching is a heavy weight Giclée art printing paper at 310 gsm.
